Kota Bharu, 31 July 2024 – Hong Leong Yamaha Motor Sdn Bhd (HLYM) has launched the first Yamaha Star Advance in East Coast through its collaboration with Kian Giap Motors Sdn Bhd.

Yamaha Star Advance is a new concept that combines the ‘3S’ approach (Sales, Service and Spare Parts) with lifestyle elements which include GENBLU café, store decorations reflecting the local culture, GENBLU Rewards loyalty program, and other engaging activities.

Kian Giap Motors Sdn Bhd, under the leadership of Mr. Lee Tiong Wan and Mr. Lee Teong Tat, is looking to celebrate its 40th anniversary as a loyal Yamaha dealer and has been one of the Top-50 Yamaha dealers for 19 years in a row.

Besides an impressive motorcycle showroom, this Yamaha Star Advance, which is the largest in East Coast
with a store area of 6,000 square feet, also features a GENBLU café, YQS service centre equipped with high-quality service tools, and store decorations inspired by Kelantanese culture for the comfort of its
customers.

The grand opening ceremony of Yamaha Star Advance Kian Giap Motors Sdn Bhd took place on 31st July
2024 and was attended by several distinguished guests, including Professor Dato’ Dr. Jim Khor, Group
Managing Director, Hong Leong Industries Berhad; Mr. Taketoshi Takabayashi, Director, HLYM; Mr. Hoo
Wan Tim, General Manager of Branding & Marketing, HLYM, Mr. Teo Ming Wei, General Manager of 3S, HLYM and Mr. Goh Wei Ping, General Manager of YGP Spareparts, HLYM.

In his speech, Mr. Hoo expressed confidence that Kian Giap Motors Sdn Bhd’s commitment and support
for making the Yamaha Star Advance a success would elevate the Yamaha brand in Kelantan and continue
